I. The "Karwa" Industrial Success Story
A flagship of the 2026 agenda is the regional expansion of Karwa Motors in the Special Economic Zone at Duqm (SEZAD).
The Milestone: In early 2026, Karwa Motors (a joint venture between Mowasalat Qatar and OIA) launched its first Omani-made 14-seater "Karwa Mini Bus."
Daimler Partnership: Following the October 2025 strategic agreement, Karwa is now an official Daimler Buses Approved Builder, manufacturing Mercedes-Benz chassis for both domestic use and export to over 10 countries, including Nigeria, Algeria, and Saudi Arabia.
