Introduction:

The relationship between Italy and Oman in 2026 marks a "New Chapter" of economic and cultural integration. Following the historic official visit of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in January 2026, the two nations have committed to a Strategic Action Plan (2026–2030). Italy is Oman's premier partner for luxury design, green transition technologies, and high-fidelity cultural exchange. This alliance is defined by a shift from traditional trade to deep investment partnerships, particularly in the green hydrogen sector.
