The Netherlands in Oman

Introduction:

The Netherlands and Oman share a centuries-old maritime history that has evolved into a strategic partnership for the 2050 Net-Zero era. This bond is anchored by the SOHAR Port and Freezone, a premier 50:50 joint venture with the Port of Rotterdam that serves as a global hub for logistics and heavy industry. Complementing this is the world’s first Green Hydrogen Corridor, a groundbreaking initiative linking the Port of Duqm with the Port of Amsterdam. From the relocation of high-tech industrial assets to pioneering renewable fuel supply chains, the Netherlands remains Oman’s primary partner in building a sustainable bridge between the Arabian and North Seas.
