IFC Oman (International Financial Centre)

The International Financial Centre of Oman (IFC Oman), established by Royal Decree 8/2026, is an independent financial and legal zone located in Madinat Al Irfan, Muscat. It is designed to act as a "Sovereign Financial Hub," offering international investors a predictable legal environment based on English Common Law and a dedicated judicial system that operates independently from the national courts.

 

Key 2026 Functions:

  • Tax Incentives: Offers up to 50 years of exemptions from income tax and VAT for eligible financial activities.

  • Judicial Autonomy: Features its own Primary Court and Court of Appeal to resolve civil and commercial disputes swiftly.
